Annette has been dancing since the age of three. She has been extensively trained in Ballet, Pointe, Hip Hop, Jazz, Modern & Tap. She has danced competitively throughout Utah, Nevada and California. In high school, she was on the National Championship Song Leading squad in which she was a captain and helped choreograph many routines. She continued to train throughout high school privately. She also continued to compete where she won many awards including Best Student Choreography at I Love Dance. She was trained by local professionals including Melissa Graehl, Kim Lanham and Janalynn Memmott. She received a scholarship at SLCC for song leading where she became the choreographer her freshman year. Her team went to California to compete and was nationally ranked second. Annette began student teaching at 16 and began teaching in 1999. She has won many state, regional and national choreography awards, including numerous High Point Overall awards, Best Choreography and most original from JUMP, Kids Artistic Revue, Utah Dance Fest, Thunderstruck, Crimson Line, and Champion Productions. In 2002, she co-founded Revolution and in 2003 briefly danced professionally with Transfusion Hype. Today she continued her training in classes with such legendary teachers as Dennis Caspary, Ray Leeper, Mike Minery and Jason Parsons. Annette is the head of our Jazz and Ballet departments. |

Amber has been dancing for 20 years and has traveled throughout the United States receiving instruction from well-known choreographers such as Rhapsody, Jose Black, Jermaine Brown, Bev B and Dennis Caspary. She has trained in ballet, jazz, hip hop, break, popping, street jazz and modern. She was most currently Assistant Show Team Director at a local studio. Amber began her teaching experience as an assistant teacher at Dance Showcase Company in Pleasant Grove. She was also a member of the Pleasant Grove High School’s dance and drill teams. We are excited to have Amber returning to our staff! |
